For my ethnic pot project, I chose to do the pot from the indigenous people of Hyrule. These pots are made by the citizens of Hyrule including some of the other native tribes and often used to store Hyrulian goods. These pots do not have much of a monetary value since you can find them throughout the land, left in forests and fields. Scholars* are not sure, but they believe the pots to be made out of clay from Death Mountain. These pots are sometimes hard to come by because of this one kid who always breaks all of the pots and then steals the goods from inside without asking. Although, even in those times all one needs to do to get more pots is to leave the room and then come back. The pots reappear almost as if by magic. Researchers** believe that there is some kind of magic Goron Fairy that replaces all the pots and replaces what was originally taken. These pots represented many things to each Hyrulian. One of the things that the pots represented was democracy for Hyrule because everyone has to sacrifice their goods and their rights to have the goods in order preserve the freedom of Hyrule.
Now for a more serious part of my paper, originally, I didn’t have too many ideas on what I would do for my ethnic pot for this project. I searched the internet for ideas of ethnic pots or baskets using tools like Google. Seeing all the ethnic pots brought to mind all the time spent in Zelda: Ocarina of Time destroying the pots. This reminder caused me to direct my focus towards the Zelda pot for this project. To think, after spending so much time destroying these pots, I would now be creating one.
I chose to do the Hyrulian pot because I am an enthusiastic Zelda fan. I’ve enjoyed the games since I started playing them on the Nintendo 64 starting with Ocarina of Time. One of my favorite things from the game was the pots, because I could throw them, break them, and take what was in them. One of the most memorable parts of the game was the house that was full of pots.  I felt that it would be appropriate to use this pot for the project since I feel like I could improve it. The pot in Ocarina of Time is very memorable, but also rigid and it upsets the eyes because it could be so much more, and I feel that I can unleash its potential. I feel that this would be fun to do for the project since it’s based on something I enjoy. I also choose this pot because it seemed simple and I feel I can model it pretty well.
The pot, while being simple, has the prospective to become beautiful. First I would try to improve the boxy shape of the pot. With the Nintendo’s limited graphics, the pots were most likely trivial to the designers. While this may be tragic, I decided I will fix what they have ignored. I intend to keep the design on the pot itself, as I believe this is what the Hyrulians would have wanted, while still refining it and making it beautiful.
This project has been a stimulating creative journey so far. Hopefully it will lead me to success and I will accomplish my goal of creating a new and updated pot, for the proud people of Hyrule. Hopefully my new design will be something that the Hyrulians can truly be proud of and something that everyone can enjoy smashing***.

This was the paper my friend Johnny and I wrote to describe why I choose to do a certain pot for our 3d project. I chose to do mine on the pots from Zelda Ocarian of Time. I hope you find this paper as funny as my friend Johnny and I did, also its mostly the first paragraph that is funny.
It's under poetry because of how poetic the writing is. I tried to load the doc on here be deviantart is an ass so hopefully this works out.

Haha, this is awesome. I like that "scholars" and "researchers" are two people.

Sounds like Link is a dirty commie to me.

Finally you will feel the pain of the Hyrulian potter whose products keep getting broken by some asshole kid.
